The PDF Expert License FAQ

When you purchase PDF Expert 2 from our website, we send you an email with a license code and further steps. Meanwhile, no license is needed when you make a purchase from the App Store. In this article, we gathered common questions regarding the license and its usage.

Where do I find my license?

You can find your license code using the License Retrieval tool. Kindly note that when you buy the app on the App Store, no license is needed.

Can’t activate my license

Please note that you can activate your license on up to 3 Macs.

The issue may appear if your Mac operating system version is 10.12. To find out which macOS version is installed, select 'About This Mac' from the Apple menu in the corner of your screen. You'll see the macOS name, such as macOS Mojave, followed by its version number. If it is 10.12, please contact our support team at rdsupport@readdle.com- we will help you ASAP.

Can I use my license on multiple devices?

The license can be activated on three Mac computers.

Can my license be used for the iOS platform?

PDF Expert for Mac and PDF Expert for iOS has been launched as separate products and therefore cannot be used under one common license. We offer a 7-day with full functionality for the iOS platform so that you can see if it suits your needs and then either subscribe to access the PRO pack or use the basic version for new users without any extra costs.

Deactivate the license

  1. Launch the app and click PDF Expert at the top left of your screen.
  2. Select License in the app’s menu bar and click Deactivate.
  3. If you no longer have access to your Mac, please drop us a line at rdsupport@readdle.com and we’ll reset your license.
